The thing about the iPad — and all the tablets that came out after — is that they have a touchscreen and an accelerometer. So the interaction is completely different.

I still haven’t bought one, though, for pretty much the same reason as I never bought a netbook: What would I actually use it for?

Usually when you try to print a PDF the default setting is to zoom the image to fit the page size. The 4×6 size fits really well on 8½ x 11, but you can set the options to not zoom and they should come out at the “right” size.

I am glad you highlighted the Admin specifically. Its true. How did you know! Seems like only yesteryear when the only requirement for an Admin was that they knew how to type and take notes. Now, even the people with Masters have a hard time getting in the door (and that’s because we’re in a financial crisis). I, for one, know enough about IT that I am starting to lean in that direction, but only enough to get myself in trouble. I have enough IT friends, but I need to know more, so this touchy-feely approach is helpful!
