Teresa, no it's never too late as long as you're still breathing.

You ... are still breathing aren't you?

Sandi, I think 1986 was still a little too soon for something like the Kindle. The display technology was primitive, battery life would have been horrible. We didn't have USB or WiFi to load it.

But I've always thought, if you want ideas for products read some mid-50s Sci-Fi. Or if you're lazy just watch Star Trek. Take anything you see there that wasn't possible when it was written but just might be today. Build it and make a fortune.

Drew, you are so right. Let me tell you a true story. In about 1986 I was on an airplane flying to my nephew's wedding. A man on the airplane was reading the Wall Street Journal, he had figured out a way to fold the paper up into a small 8x8 piece and then by refolding and refolding read different parts of the paper. I looked at that and though how neat it would be to have an electronic reader and drew a picture of it in a magazine complete with keyboard. I told a few people about my idea and they all laughed at me and I did nothing. Now, our family owns 2 Kindles.

I like your writing Drew as much as I like your cooking. Kudos to you my friend. I aspire to do the same, but I think I just started a little too late. But it never hurts to try, does it?
